Application for Individual Verifiers Opens in September
The Secretariat of the International EPD System (IES) invites competent and experienced Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) experts to apply as verifiers, contributing their expertise to the EPD verification process in the IES between September 1 and October 31, 2025.
With the growing demand for Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), driven by increasing policy requirements to consider the environmental impacts of products, the Secretariat of the International EPD System is seeking LCA experts in the fall to support the third-party verification and quality assurance of EPDs within the International EPD System.
For the 2026 listing of independent verifiers, applications will be open for individual verifiers from September 1 to October 31, 2025. Competent LCA experts who wish to stay at the forefront of EPD development and contribute to this expanding field are encouraged to apply to become approved individual verifiers.
Organisations interested in gaining recognition to perform EPD verification are also invited to apply to become accredited certification bodies. This application process is open on a rolling basis.
