Solar Gard® Clear Safety and Anti-Graffiti films up to 8 mil and Solar Safety films up to 4 mil

This EPD describes the environmental impact of 1 m² of installed Solar Gard clear safety and anti-graffiti films up to 8 mil and solar safety films up to 4 mil. The product warranty for the clear safety and solar safety films is 12 years and for the anti-graffiti films the warranty period is 5 years. Warranty is subject to conditions. Up to date information can be found on www.solargard.eu. 

The expected average service life longer provided when the specified conditions for installation, use and maintenance are followed. Consider however that ant-graffiti films are intended as sacrificial surface protection. which is outside the warranty.

This EPD covers 6 solar safety films (for internal use) , 2 clear safety films (for internal use) and 2 anti-graffiti films. The reference product for the group of products covered in this EPD is Solar Gard AC 4 mil Silver 20.

AC 4 mil Silver 20 has a total solar energy rejection (TSER) of 81% on single glass and 70% on an insulated glass unit (IGU) consisting of 2 standard clear panes. The Infrared Energy rejected (IRER) is 84% on single clear glass. 

All products meet Class A+ (Volatile Organic Compounds – VOC) tested according to EN ISO 16000 2,3 (2011) and 5,6 (2012) and meet 13238B-s1, d0 (Reaction to fire - European Construction Products Directive/EN SBI 13238).
