The production of ThermoWood works under strict quality management systems. The quality control system and requirements are set by the ThermoWood Association which sets the general standards for ThermoWood by Stora Enso classes S and D. Thermo-S has improved stability, an attractive light golden-brown tone, and is mainly suitable for interiors. Thermo-D has improved durability, a darker brown tone, and is used in both interior and exterior applications.
