Precast Steel & Concrete Piles
Product information
The pile is a prestressed concrete element, where the strand is tensioned to 80% of its Fpu (prestressing force last). The concrete is a Type III, concrete resistant to sulfates, with a f'c = 560 kg/cm2. The assembly of the pile consists of 4 steel bars of the number 10, 8 strands of ½ "and ferrule W-16 of ½", which is placed in spiral throughout the length of the pile. Steel reinforced used is type A-52 with a yield strength (fy) equal to 5 200 kg/cm2, steel ferrule has fy = 4 280 kg/cm2. Strand has Fpu equal to 19 000 kg/cm2. The pile has two or four lifting hooks depending on the length, which consist of two strands ok ½ ", these hooks were designed with the purpose of absorbing the loads to which the pile will be subjected during the demolding and transfer to work, these hooks are already cut in place.
