The Secretariat of the International EPD System invites you to a full-day conference exploring the evolving role of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) in a rapidly shifting global landscape. As industries and supply chains need to adapt to new environmental regulations, digital transformation, and increasing transparency demands, this conference will bring together key stakeholders—industry leaders, LCA experts, verifiers, policymakers, and technology providers—to navigate challenges and collectively shape the future of EPDs.

ISC2025 will lay its foundation based on the three pillars: digitalisation, regulations, and harmonisation. The space will be held to address how to unleash the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and streamline data flows for EPD development, at the optimising LCA methodologies and verification process; how to actively shape and receptively adapt to the EU and global policies around EPDs, such as Ecodesign for Sustainable Product Regulations (ESPR) that affects most products in the EU market, and the EU Construction Product Regulation (CPR); and how to identify common ground to simplify, standardise, and enhance the comparability, transparency, and credibility of EPDs within industries.

ISC2025 will take form through keynote presentations, panel discussions, and interactive sessions. Held in conjunction with the International Conference of Life Cycle Management (LCM), ISC2025 will take place on September 13 in Palermo, a vibrant city in Sicily, Italy. ISC2025 continues the tradition of fostering dialogue within the global LCA community, offering valuable opportunities to gain insights, conceive ideas, as well as to connect and collaborate.
