The brand WASA
Wasa is celebrating its 100 year anniversary. Founded in 1919 Wasa is the largest crispbread baker in the world, selling its products in 40 different countries, from Sweden to America. In 1999 Wasa became part of the Barilla. The Wasa Bakeries are located in Filipstad (Sweden) and in Celle (Germany). The largest markets for the Wasa brand outside Sweden are the other Nordic countries and Germany closely followed by The Netherlands, France, USA, Poland & Italy. Further information on www.wasa.com

Plant and process
Wasa Ragi is a slightly thinner crispbread. It has a more powerful taste than, for example, Husman. WASA Ragi is baked in Filipstad and Celle plants where a typical bakery process takes place. The ingredients included in the recipe are mixed together in to dough and baked in specific ovens. Ragi comes into 275 g and 550 g packaging format and Original comes into 275 g packaging format.
