Steelsurf ECO+
SteelSurf ECO+ is part of SteelPhalt's ECO+ range and is designed to deliver the lowest carbon footprint asphalt solutions available. It is made up of steel slag, lignin, bitumen and plant aggregate. SteelSurf ECO+ is designed for heavy vehicle transportation and is suitable for warehouse floors, urban highways, and steel mills & plants.
SteelPhalt asphalt is produced like conventional HMA (hot mix asphalt), where SteelSurf ECO+ differs is that the aggregate is 100% recycled Steel Slag, and ca 20% of the binder is made from Lignin as opposed to 100% bitumen.
