Glued laminated timber beams with metal fittings
Glued laminated timber is a high-strength engineered wood product made from multiple layers of dry softwood boards—typically spruce or pine—bonded together with moisture-resistant adhesive and installed metal fittings. It is used for load-bearing structures, offering excellent dimensional stability, high load capacity, and architectural flexibility. Glulam is widely used in both residential and commercial construction, especially for long spans and exposed timber designs.
