Coated glass
The coated glass consists of a sun-controlled coating and a LOW-E coating, also known as Low-E glass, is a type of coated glass that has a high reflectance ratio for extreme infrared light in the 4.5 μm to 25 μm band. When Low-E glass is combined with solar control features, it becomes solar control Low-E glass. It is commonly used in construction and can effectively reflect solar radiation, reduce indoor temperature, reduce air conditioning energy consumption, and keep indoor warm in winter, improve air conditioning and heating efficiency.Under vacuum conditions, an appropriate amount of inert gas (such as argon) is filled into the sputtering chamber. A direct current or radio frequency voltage is applied between the target material and the substrate of the coating chamber, ionizing the argon to generate high-energy argon ions. These argon ions, under the action of the electric and magnetic fields, bombard the cathode target material at high speed. After the target material atoms acquire sufficient energy, they are sputtered from the surface of the target and will fly towards the coated glass along a certain direction and deposit to form a thin film on the glass surface.
