The production of cement involves grinding cement clinker along with other primary or minor constituents. Upon adding water to cement, a cement paste forms, which subsequently sets and hardens through hydration reactions.  

The specified product is a type of cement conforming to the composition of Portland Limestone Cement CEM II/A-LL 42.5 R, white. It is manufactured by Heidelberg Materials Bulgaria at the DEVNYA plant.  

This product-specific Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) pertains to cement types CEM II/A- LL 42.5 R, white meeting the requirements outlined in EN 197-1.  

For marketing this product within the European Union and the European Free Trade Association (EU/EFTA, excluding Switzerland), Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011 (Construction Product Regulation, CPR) applies. The product necessitates a Declaration of Performance, considering EN 197-1, as well as the CE marking. Additionally, the application and use of the product must adhere to the relevant national provisions.
