Aluminium Profile and Thermal Barrier Aluminium Profile

Within this project, two series of aluminium profiles are analyzed: extruded aluminium profiles and thermal barrier extruded aluminium profiles.

The main raw materials (aluminium ingot and billets) and manufacturing processes for the two series of products are nearly the same. The only difference lies in thermal barrier which is made from polyamide and glass fiber, and assembled to the profiles at the end of the manufacturing process, in order to prevent conductive thermal energy loss during further applications of the profiles, e.g. window and door frames, curtain wall, louver, handrail, partitions etc..
