Luc Plancke

Luc Plancke is Founder & CEO of Enperas and brings over 16 years’ experience with leading European building‑materials companies. He led the gypsum‑board transition to Cradle‑to‑Cradle, served on the board of the German EPD programme IBU, is the member of EPD International and co‑developed the LCA Quadrant Tool and EPD services for building‑materials and chemicals manufacturers.

Enperas provides the LCA Quadrant Tool (SaaS) and LCA consultancy to simplify LCA workflows in Europe and support manufacturers in building materials and chemicals to produce Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).

With extensive expertise in LCA, Luc is well-versed in major European EPD programmes, including B-EPD FOD (Belgium), IBU (Germany), INIES (France), MRPI/MKI (Netherlands), BRE (UK), and EPD International (Sweden). Luc enables clients in the building materials and chemicals industry to accurately assess, communicate, and improve their products' and materials' environmental impact.

In the webinar, Luc will cover the science and practice of sustainability: life cycle assessment (LCA) studies and case studies, environmental impact categories, and practical applications for ecodesign, an overview of the Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) single‑score, and the connections between PEF, LCA and the Construction Products Regulation (CPR).

Sebastiaan Stiller

Sebastiaan Stiller, serves as CEO of EPD International AB, the owner of the International EPD System, and is a board member of ECO Platform.

EPD International AB is the originator of the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and today one of the world’s largest, most well-established, and well-governed EPD programme operators.

Sebastiaan is a Senior Sustainability Professional with more than 15 years of experience, bringing an international background from both corporate and consulting roles across the Environmental Services, Energy and Infrastructure, and Manufacturing sectors. Sebastiaan holds an MBA in Sustainability Management from Leuphana University.

During the webinar, Sebastiaan will introduce the International EPD System, provide an introduction to the EU Construction Products Regulation (CPR) covering scope and manufacturer obligations, explain Declaration of Performance and Conformity (DoPCs) addressing their required content, harmonised standards, and the CE-marking process, and show how EPDs can be aligned with CPR requirements to support DoPCs and CE marking.
