Under development - c-PCR Corrosion protection of fabricated steel products (c-PCR under PCR 2019:14)

This complementary PCR (c-PCR ) is currently under development.

The open consultation phase, planned to start in Q4 2025, will start with an e-mail invitation to identified stakeholders to the product group as representatives of different organisations. Any stakeholder is welcome to provide comments during this phase of the PCR development.

The PCR is expected to be published in Q1 2026.

All dates are preliminary and subject to change.

This will not be a standalone PCR but a complementary PCR (c-PCR) to the main PCR 2019:14 Construction products. The c-PCR will provide additional rules and specifications for the specified product category.

The c-PCR shall be used together with the main PCR to assess the environmental performance of Corrosion protection of fabricated steel products and the declaration of this performance by an EPD.

This c-PCR will cover the product category corresponds to UN CPC 88731 Metal treatment and coating services.
