Hydrogen electrolyzer and generators (c-PCR to 2024:06)

This PCR is currently being developed.

The development of this PCR was initiated 2026-08-10.

The open consultation, planned to start in Q4 2026, will start with an e-mail
invitation to identified stakeholders. Any stakeholder is welcome to provide comments on the draft PCR.  

The publication is expected in Q2/Q3 2027.

Dates are preliminary and subject to change.

This document provides complementary product category rules (c-PCR) to PCR 2024:06 Electronic and electric equipment, and electronic components (non-construction). The c-PCR shall be used for the assessment of the environmental performance of Hydrogen electrolyzer and generators and the declaration of this
performance by an EPD. The product category corresponds to UN CPC 43911.
