PCR description
This document provides Product Category Rules (PCR) for the assessment of the environmental performance of Fish fillets and meat; fish livers and roes and the declaration of this performance by an EPD. The product category corresponds to the subclasses.
The product category corresponds to UN CPC:
CPC 042 Fish live, fresh or chilled for human consumption CPC 2121 Fish, frozen (excluding fish fillets and fish meat) CPC 2122 Fish fillets and meat; fish livers and roes CPC 2123 Fish, dried, whether or not salted, or in brine; smoked incl. fillets; edible fishmeal
Fish is intended either from seawater or freshwater and both wild caught or from aquaculture. This PCR only covers products intended for human consumption.
