PCR description
This complementary PCR (c-PCR) is under development. It shall be used together with the main PCR on food and beverage products that is under development. This will replace the current standalone PCR on bakery products (PCR 2012:06) which expired 2025-01-20.
The open consultation, planned to start in Q3/Q4 2025, will start with an e-mail invitation to identified stakeholders. Any stakeholder is welcome to provide comments during this phase of the c-PCR development.

The c-PCR is expected to be published in Q1 2026

The c-PCR shall be used together with the main PCR to assess the environmental performance of bakery products and the declaration of this performance by an EPD.
The product category corresponds to the UN CPC group 234 Bakery products.
