PCR description
This c-PCR is under development. The open consultation is planned in Q4 2025. During the open consultation, any stakeholder is welcome to provide comments on the draft PCR.
The c-PCR is expected to be published in Q1 2026.

This will not be a standalone PCR but a complementary PCR (c-PCR) to PCR 2019:14 Construction products, providing additional rules and requirements and further specifications.
The c-PCR shall be used together with PCR 2019:14 to assess the environmental performance of wind towers onshore and offshore and the declaration of this performance by an EPD.
Wind towers is one the principal parts from wind turbines to produce wind energy. Therefore the principal sector it is the energy generation. The product can be produced from different materials such as steel, iron, wood or concrete. The product category corresponds to a subset of the following UN CPC class and subclass:
- 4211 Bridges, bridge sections, towers and lattice masts, of iron or steel 7308.20.0020 HTSUS
- 3870 Prefabricated buildings | 9406 HTSUS
- 38701 Prefabricated buildings, of wood | 9406 HTSUS
- 38701 Prefabricated buildings, of concrete | 9406 HTSUSl
