PCR description
This is an initiative by the Secretariat to adopt the upcoming EN standard "Ventilation for buildings – Environmental product declarations – Product Category rules complementary to EN 15804 for ventilation components" as a complementary PCR (c-PCR) to PCR 2019:14 Construction products.
The c-PCR is likely to cover all related products except air filters, which are covered in a separate c-PCR being developed by CEN/TC 195.
The current status as of 2025-07-09 is in the first stage "Preliminary". Estimated publication year is 2026-2027. You can follow its development here.
The PCR has a potential overlap with c-PCR-018 Ventilation components, in turn adopted from EPD Norway. When there is an overlap in scope, the EN standard will replace c-PCR-018.
