Under development - Electric motorbikes and electric micromobility vehicles

This PCR is under development. The open consultation, planned to start in Q4 2025, will start with an e-mail invitation to identified stakeholders. Any stakeholder is welcome to provide comments during this phase of the PCR development.

This PCR development was inititated in 2024-06-13. The PCR is expected to be published in Q1 2026.

This document will provide Product Category Rules (PCR) for the assessment of the environmental performance of Electric motorbikes and electric micromobility vehicles and the declaration of this performance by an EPD.

The product category corresponds to a subset of UN CPC 4911 Motor vehicles and UN CPC 4912 parts and accessories n.e.c of motor vehicles. Examples of products that are covered in this PCR are E-bikes, electric mopeds and electric motorcycles as well as electric vehicles for micromobility. Motorbikes with combustion engines are not covered in this PCR.
