PCR description
This PCR will upon its expiration be replaced with a new PCR of fibres, which started to be developed in January 2024. Upon the initiation of this new PCR, the validity period of the present PCR was expanded with 10 months until 2025-03-13. 2025-01-24 the validity of the PCR was extended a second time until 2025-09-13, due to a delay in the development process of the new PCR.
This document provides Product Category Rules (PCR) for the assessment of the environmental performance of man-made fibres for the textile sector. It aims to be the main way to develop and register EPDs in the International EPD System.
