PCR description
This document (version 2.0) provides Product Category Rules (PCR) for the assessment of the environmental performance of Preparations used in animal feeding for food-producing animals, covering CPC 233 "Preparations used in animal feeding; lucerne (alfalfa) meal and pellets", CPC 0419 "Other live fish, not for human consumption, including seeds and feeds for aquaculture", and CPC 39120 "Bran and other residues from the working of cereals or legumes; vegetable materials and vegetable waste, vegetable residues and by-products, whether or not in the form of pellets, of a kind used in animal feeding n.e.c.".
Compared to previous versions, the scope has expanded (more CPC codes covered and a global scope).
Pet food is not included in the scope of this PCR.
