Being updated - Cosmetics (soap, perfume and toilet preparations)

This PCR is currently on open consultation from 2025-12-29 until 2026-03-01. The draft PCR is available for download below. Any stakeholder is welcome to provide comments on the draft PCR, using the template available for download below. Comments shall be sent to the PCR Moderator.

An updating process was initiated 2024-01-22, which will result in version 3.0.0 with a new four year validity period.

The open consultation is planned for Q1 2026, with publication expected in Q2 2026.

Upon initiating the updating process, version 2.0.2 was released with an extended validity period with one year until 2025-10-27.

Due to delay in the PCR updating process, version 2.0.3 was released with an extended validity period with 6 months until 2026-04-27.

This document (version 2.0.3) provides Product Category Rules (PCR) for the assessment of the environmental performance of UN CPC 35321 and CPC 35323 (soap, perfume and toilet preparations) and the declaration of this performance by an EPD.
