PCR description
This document (version 2.0.0) provides Product Category Rules (PCR) for the assessment of the environmental performance of yachts, small crafts, vessels, and components thereof and the declaration of this performance in an EPD.
The scope corresponds to UN CPC 4931 (Cruise ships, excursion boats and similar vessels, principally designed for the transport of persons; ferry boats of all kinds) and UN CPC 494 (Pleasure and sporting boats) as well as components of the boats not covered by any other PCRs. More information about the product group is available in the PCR.
This is a main PCR that eventually may be complemented by more specific complementary PCRs (c-PCRs) for specific vessels or components. More information on the applicability of this PCR on its own, and together with c-PCRs, is available in the PCR.
The PCR may be downloaded in the EPD Portal, in which it is free to register.
