Being updated - Other special- and general-purpose machinery and parts thereof

Version 5.0.0 of this PCR is currently on open consultation from 2026-02-25 until 2026-04-25. The draft PCR is available for download along with the template for comments. Any stakeholder is welcome to comment on the draft. Please send your comments to the PCR Moderator. 

The validity of the current version was extended until 2026-10-04 so as to ensure enough transition time with version 5.0.0 which is currently being developed.

This PCR is currently being updated to version 5.0. The updating process was initiated 2025-06-09. The new version of this PCR will follow the GPI 5.0.1.

The PCR is expected to be published in Q2/Q3 2026.

The indicated dates are however preliminary and subject to change.

This document (version 4.0) provides Product Category Rules (PCR) for the assessment of the environmental performance of UN CPC group 449 (Other special-purpose machinery and pats thereof) and underlying classes, as well as machines designed for a general purpose, as defined by the UN CPC group 439 (Other general-purpose machinery and parts thereof) and underlying classes. Product group also includes machines under class 44221 and class 44629. Note that scope was expanded as of version 4.0.
