The Secretariat of the International EPD System (IES) would like to inform all stakeholders that an editorial update of PCR 2019:14 has been made. The new PCR version 2.0.1 is now available in the PCR Library and the mandatory Verification Report Template can be found in EPD Development and Verification Template.

PCR 2019:14 Version 2.0.1

This update includes editorial revisions and clarifications, particularly concerning allocation rules, as well as a change in the PCR moderator role. Kristian Jelse, CEO of Greendesk, has been appointed as the new moderator, continuing the important work of the Construction Products PCR. The Secretariat extends its sincere gratitude to Martin Erlandsson for his many years of dedicated service as the moderator of the most widely adopted PCR within the IES.

Key changes in PCR 2019:14 version 2.0.1:

• Change of PCR moderator

• Editorial improvements, including:

  • Correction of cross-references and spelling errors
  • Clarifications in Sections 4.5.1, 4.5.3, and A4 regarding allocation rules

Mandatory Verification Report Template

The mandatory verification report template has also been updated in accordance with the recent update of the PCR 2019:14 version 2.0.1. The verification report template shall be adopted by all Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) developed based on PCR 2019:14 version 2.0.1 for their verification.
