Launch of China Communication Channels to Strengthen Local Support

21 April 2026 | General
The International EPD System has officially launched a dedicated Chinese-language website alongside new communication channels on Weibo and Zhihu, marking an important step in strengthening engagement with stakeholders in China.

The launch of the China communications channels on 17th April reflects the commitment of the International EPD System (IES) to better supporting Chinese companies and practitioners involved in Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) development. By expanding its digital presence in China, the organisation aims to improve information accessibility, provide more tailored guidance, and foster closer engagement with local clients and partners.

With the official launch of the Chinese website, the IES will provide the Chinese market with more convenient, clear, and structured access to EPD information and related services, marking a new step forward in strengthening its localised service capacity in China. More than just an information platform, the Chinese website will help lower barriers to access, improve communication efficiency, and support Chinese companies, organisations, and industry stakeholders in understanding and engaging more effectively with the IES.

The new Chinese website provides a concise overview of the IES and its services. Key sections include:

  • Services, covering both EPD and PCR development processes

  • Client Case Studies, showcasing Chinese clients and their EPDs as practical examples and success stories

  • News, featuring the latest updates and announcements

  • Resources, offering templates and guidance materials

  • About Us and Contact Us, enabling visitors to learn more about the organisation and connect directly with the China office for local support

Complementing the website, the launch of official WeChat and Zhihu accounts will enable the International EPD System to share timely updates, insights, opportunities, and responses to frequently asked questions through platforms widely used by Chinese professionals.

Together, these new channels strengthen the accessibility and capacity of IES to support sustainable development efforts in China, making it easier for stakeholders to engage with EPD-related information, services, and expertise.
