MAGREEN PREPAINTED STEEL
MAGREEN Prepainted Steel, which is made from up to 100% recycled scrap and up to 100% renewable energy in an electric arc furnace (EAF). Additional alloying elements are added according to the steel grade to achieve the required steel characteristics. The alloying strategy is well-targeted to meet specific requirements per application (construction, pressure, large tubes, etc.) and environment (corrosive, under pressure, temperature variation, etc.) according to applicable standards. Information on the various steel compositions is available on www.maghrebsteel.ma.
MAGREEN Prepainted Steel is produced through a continuous galvanizing and prepainting process. A layer of zinc is applied, followed by an organic coating suitable for all atmospheres, depending on the type of coating. This gives the sheet an aesthetic appearance and provides additional protection against corrosion. The choice of paint system depends on the environmental conditions in which the product will be exposed and the technical properties required. Maghreb Steel pre-painted products for exterior applications are available in a rich diversity of colors and surface appearances (smooth, textured).
The thickness of the product varies between 0.26 to 2 mm, and the width is up to 1250 mm. MAGREEN Cold Rolled Steel complies with international standards: EN 10169, EN 10143
