Synthetic Calcium Fluoride

Synthetic calcium fluoride CaF2 is a by-product obtained from the treatment process of plant water, which is acidic due to hydrochloric, hydrofluoric and sulphuric acid, before being sent to the consortium plant in the Macchiareddu industrial area. 

The material is characterised by a high calcium fluoride (CaF2) content and a moisture content of approximately 30-35%; the secondary constituents derive partly from the neutralisation process, partly as residues from the processing of raw materials.
