Gerdau Hot Rolled Coils UOB (Ouro Branco) facility

Gerdau provides hot rolled coils in the following formats:

• HQ: Hot Rolled Thin Coil

• BQA: Hot Rolled and Finished Thin Coil

• BG: Hot Rolled Thick Coil

• CFQ: Hot Rolled Thin Plate

• CFQA: Hot Rolled and Finished Thin Plate

• CGT: Hot Rolled Thick Plate

Its main characteristics are good weldability and versatility in terms of chemical composition and level of mechanical resistance. General requirements such as: tolerances in thickness, width, length, deviation in plain and lateral warping can be verified in accordance with the specifications contained in the Brazilian Standard – NBR 11888 – Sheet and coils of carbon and high strength alloy steel – General Requirements – and NBR 11889 – Heavy thickness coils and plates of carbon and high strength low steels – General requirements.
