Precast Concrete Product - Staircases
A staircase is a construction element that enables a vertical distance to be bridged by means of a series of stairs or steps.
Precast concrete stairs are more suitable for work sites than metal stairs as they are faster to assemble and fire resistant. The concrete used in their manufacture is HA-50 and the steel is type B500 S.
HORMIPRESA manufactures different sizes for staircases with a maximum length of 5 meters, width from 1 to 2 meters and steps’ height from 0.16 to 0.185 meters.
Stands consist of a terraced seating arrangement and are used in facilities where it is necessary to adapt spaces to enable the public to enjoy the events that take place there. They are large L-shaped elements arranged on a beam with a stepped upper side.
The precast concrete elements used to form a stand, for example, in a sports stadium, auditorium, theatre or bullring are another example of the possibilities offered by this element. Their standardisation for specific projects and speed of assembly are two sought-after qualities for designers of these spaces.
The concrete used in their manufacture is HA-50 and the steel is type B500 S. It is possible to manufacture both products with other types of concrete and steel if the project so requires.
