Precast concrete in its traditional form has been used for many years in the construction of precast façade panels. Using a precast design solution offers many advantages over traditional building methods. However, traditional concrete has an extremely high carbon footprint primarily due to the carbon embodiment of Portland cement. At Grants of Shoreditch, we have worked tirelessly to develop an extremely low carbon concrete which we now offer as an alternative to traditional mix designs.
