ATP Gutter for tunnel water collection made of GFRP

The ATP product subjected to Environmental Product Declaration is a gutter for tunnels water collection, aiming at collecting the drainage water from the top of the tunnel walls, which is then driven off through a drainage system.

The gutter is made of Glass Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (GFRP), through a pultrusion process. The material has notable mechanical-physical-chemical characteristics, such as high tensile strength, high corrosion resistance and high electric isolation. The GFRP gutter’s section has an inclination equal to 65°, in order to adhere to the tunnel walls; its weight is equal to 4,5 kg/m and its maximum water flow is equal to 25 l/m.
