Italia zuccheri Sugar from sugar beet

This is an Environmental Product Declaration- EPD- of multiple products, based on worst-case results. The products included are:

1. Bulk conventional beet sugar

2. Bulk conventional molasses, a co-product of sugar beet

3. 1 kg pack of conventional beet sugar

4. Bulk organic beet sugar

5. Bulk organic molasses, a co-product of organic sugar beet

6. 750 g pack of Nostrano conventional raw beet sugar

The sugar beets are cultivated in the main (88%) agricultural areas of Emilia-Romagna and Veneto and the manufacturing of the final product takes place at sugar factory in Minerbio (Bologna) and Pontelongo (Padova).
