SUMPOL IPP 3300 is an Isotactic Polypropylene blend for the modification of APP-bitumen mixtures in roofing felt with the specific features of improving the high temperature resistance without causing excessive viscosity increase of the coating mass. Improvements made by adding this grade to the bitumen includes:

• increasing the hardness (lowering of the penetration at low and high temperature)

• increasing the softening point

• increasing the heat resistance by increasing the crystallinity of the bitumen mass, without inducing excessive

viscosity

• can easily be combined with other polymers to meet the desired properties of the roofing felt
