PRX8080

Sumflex SUMFLEX NG(X)(PRX)8000/8080 is a copolymer polyolefinic blend for the modification of bitumen in roofing felt production. Improvements made by adding this grade to the bitumen includes:

• widening the range of plasticity and increasing cohesion of the bitumen

• reducing the thermal susceptivity of the bitumen

• increasing the heat resistance

• increasing the resistance against permanent deformation and UV radiation

• improving the cold bending performance

• improving the ageing

• improving the resistance to fatigue at low temperature

• can easily be combined with other polymers to meet the desired properties of the roofing felt
