CEM I 42.5 R cement is produced in accordance with the EN 197-1 standard. The main ingredient of this Portland cement is clinker (95% - 100%), which is responsible for its strength and rapid setting. It is a high-strength cement, characterized by very high early and final strength, optimal workability, and significant heat of hydration development.

This cement is particularly suitable for concrete work in low temperatures, construction of structures requiring fast formwork removal, handling of elements, or early load bearing, as well as for the production of waterproof concrete and frost-resistant concrete.

It is suitable for the preparation of all types of concrete with high initial mechanical resistance requirements, concrete for the construction of demanding engineering structures and infrastructure projects, public and commercial buildings, precast and assembled elements, prestressed structures, and the preparation of shotcrete and injection concrete.
