Steel Ceiling and Wall Features
NOWN utilizes steel to create a dynamic, scalable, and cost-effective range of modular ceiling systems. Steel provides structural stability and durability, making it ideal for withstanding various design conditions and ensuring long-lasting performance. The structural part of the systems Atmosphera ®, Atmosphera ® Adaptive Pulse, TriSoft®, SoftFold® and SoundStar® are made of powder-coated steel. The acoustic value is given by the SoftSound® (100% non-woven PET, with 60% post-consumer recycled content).
The lines Atmosphera ® and Atmosphera ® Adaptive Pulse are modular, configurable, open baffle ceiling systems that offer a variety of customized visual profiles and options. With their adaptability to any space, these modules empower you to attain striking and aesthetically pleasing results in both architecture and interior design.
SoftFold®'s geometric, faceted design brings striking texture to your space and adds complexity to your ceilings with the origami of sound attenuation. With an award-winning combination of design, functionality and liveliness, the dimensional patterning of SoftFold® achieves acoustical dampening while creating a subtle play between light and shadow. The faceted design helps reduce and control reverberations and diffuse sound leaving a lasting impression at scales ranging from assembly halls to conference rooms. SoftFold® is available in full and half-sized modules that seamlessly connect for further flexibility in your space.
The ceiling clouds TriSoft® and SoundStar®, offer a scalable way to add geometric dimensionality and disrupt sound’s ability to travel across space. Thanks to their flexible, modular configuration, these modules can adapt to a range of spaces and design visions, to create a spectacular visual effect. The design and sound capturing capabilities of this system offer a fresh effective approach to high-performance sound attenuation.
