Glued laminated timber by Mayr-Melnhof Holz Wismar GmbH
Glued laminated timber is a dimensionally stable, homgeneously glued product, which is used for load-bearing structures. Glued laminated timber consists of at least two laminations and is manufactured from kiln-dried softwood in accordance with EN 14080 and includes also glued solid timber, block glued glulam and glulam with large finger joints and glulam with special forms. Glued laminated timber is usually made from spruce, pine, fir or larch. The standard strength classes are: GL24c, GL24h, GL28c, GL28h, GL30c, GL30h. Glued laminated timber is available as standard or commissioned goods as well as in special dimensions and special constructions or in the form of special components.
