Data quality assessment

Description of data quality assessment and reference yearsIn accordance with EN 15941 and the PCR requirements, a data quality assessment was performed for the datasets contributing to the environmental impact results. The assessment covers data representative of at least 80% of each declared environmental impact indicator and evaluates the geographical, technological, and temporal representativeness of the datasets, as well as their precision, completeness, consistency, and data sources. The quality of the relevant data used for the EPD in terms of its time, geography and technology representativeness using EN 15804:2012+A2:2019, Annex E, E2 produced a DQR (Data Quality Rating) equal to 4.06, corresponding to a "good" quality level.

Default scenario

Name of the default scenarioDefault scenario
Description of the default scenarioThis scenario represents a combination of assumptions based on 2024 sales, possible product installation practices, and end-of-life scenarios without recovery or recycling.

Module A4: Transport to the building site

Explanatory name of the default scenario in module A4Default Scenario
Brief description of the default scenario in module A4Transport of the finished product to end customers
Description of the default scenario in module A4This module includes the transport of finished products to customers and transport from customers' warehouses to construction sites. Transport to customers is by truck or ship. The weighted average of the km travelled by the different means of transport in 2024 of the four products were used. 50 km of truck travel was then added as an estimated distance from the customer's warehouse to the construction site for all materials.

Module A5: Installation in the building

Explanatory name of the default scenario in module A5Default scenario
Brief description of the default scenario in module A5Mix the product with the required water
Description of the default scenario in module A5Application of the product, including the production and transportation of any necessary auxiliary materials and the necessary energy and water flows. Storage: The storage of the products must be carried out in a dry environment sheltered from the sun and humidity. CALIBRO NHL in the original packaging has a storage time of 18 months. Product preparation: CALIBRO NHL can be mixed using a whisk drill, bucket concrete mixer or planetary mixer. In the case of mixing with a whisk drill, pour 5 l of water (equal to 25% by weight) into the preparation container and then slowly the CALIBRO NHL product, stirring for at least 3-4 minutes until a creamy mixture is obtained. In the case of mixing in a concrete mixer or planetary mixer, pour 5 l of water into the glass and then slowly the CALIBRO NHL product, stirring for at least 7 minutes until a creamy mixture is obtained. Application: Carry out the layer of plaster by regularizing with simple leveling using registers or screeds to maintain the thicknesses without crushing the product. It is possible to apply a plastering machine with a smoothing lance after mixing the product separately.

Module C: End-of-life

Explanatory name of the default scenario in module CDefault scenario
Brief description of the default scenario in module CEnd of Life Stage
Description of the default scenario in module CSince no target market specific data are available for the modelling of demolition/deconstruction in module C1, transport in module C2, material sorting and treatment in C3 or compaction of inert construction waste for landfill (including backfilling) in module C4, and the product being intended to be part of a completed building or construction work, in accordance with the PCR the default data in Table 4 of paragraph 4.8.4 have been used.

Module D: Beyond product life cycle

Explanatory name of the default scenario in module DDefault scenario
Brief description of the default scenario in module Dpotential benefits from the recycling of the product
Description of the default scenario in module D:(benefits and potential for recovery/reuse) beyond the system boundaries considered: potential benefits from the recycling of the product Module D is calculated considering the potential impacts and benefits associated with the recycling of the product, calculated according to the EN 15804 standard, Annex D. The impacts of module D were calculated only for the loads and benefits related to the export of materials, calculated with the following equation: e_moduleD1=Σ_i (M_MRout |_i-M_MRin |_i )⋅(E_MRafterEoWout |_i-E_VMsubout |_i (Q_Rout/Q_sub ) |_i )
