RedLINE® 40

RedLINE® waterproof expansion joint is the latest generation joint tape for bridging expansion joints in sealing between building components. The resistant joint tape made of high-quality EPDM (polymer) rubber reinforced with unwoven polyester offers safe and highly efficient installation and ensures impermeability at all joint zones at building transitions. Due to the conventional installation method with hot liquid bitumen, this joint sealing system offers quick and safe installation. In this case, the lateral adhesive flanges are poured directly onto the bituminous sealant with hot bitumen. To follow the geometry of an individual joint, form pieces might be inserted by means of vulcanization. A system with monolithic structure without weak points is created that way. Depending on the installation scenario, different other types of approved bonds (e.g. epoxy resins, liquid membranes) can be used to force-fit the RedLINE waterproof expansion joints directly to the substrate. Multi-dimensional joint movements are easily accommodated with the support-free expansion zone, which is positioned centrally above the expansion zone and forms the centre of the system.
