MasterSan and ventilation ducts
MasterSan andFlexible ventilation ducts are components used in heating, ventilation and air onditioning systems to distribute and convey air between ventilation units, air handling systems, diffusers, and other air distribution terminals within buildings. Their flexible structure allows easy installation in confined spaces and facilitates connections between system components, even in complex layouts. The ducts are generally composed of a spiral metal wire reinforcement, typically made of steel, which provides structural stability and maintains the circular cross-section of the duct even when bent. Around this reinforcement, different layers of materials can be applied depending on the product model. These may include polymer films, polyolefin or polyethylene-based layers, and in some cases insulating materials that improve thermal and acoustic performance. Some models may include integrated antimicrobial technologies within the inner lining to limit the growth of bacteria, molds, and fungi inside the ventilation system, contributing to improved indoor air quality in buildings. The flexible ducts are designed for use in a wide range of applications, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, as well as specialized environments such as hospitals, hotels, offices, and other enclosed spaces requiring controlled ventilation and air distribution.
