Impregnated spruce

Sveden Trä produces pressure treated spruce at its main production facility in Rågsveden. The timber is sawn and dried to approximately 18-20%. The product is planed before being pressure treated with Wolmanit CX, a copper-based wood preservative. The treatment provides effective protection against decay and insect attack, classified as preservation class NTR Gran. The finished products are packaged using PET straps and drying battens. Typical end uses include decking, cladding and fencing

The raw material comes from responsibly managed forests in Sweden, with the majority of timber sourced locally within a radius of up to 150 km from the production site. The production facility use renewable energy, with heat generated from biomass and electricity from renewable sources.
