Rolling shutter systems with steel slat curtain (DP100, DP125, P115)

The products considered in this study are rolling shutter systems designed for the closure and protection of openings in residential, industrial, and commercial buildings, in accordance with UNI EN 13241. Each rolling shutter system consists of a set of components, including curtain profiles, curtain assembly, side guides, shaft, and related accessories, which are manufactured and prepared as sub-units before being delivered for final installation.

The products covered by this study belong to three main product series, grouped into two main system families: the IS-Italy system, which includes advanced rolling shutters with insulated steel curtain based on DP100 and DP125 profiles, and the P115 rolling shutter system, which represents the single-wall profile solution. The curtain profiles are manufactured through roll-forming processes; in the case of insulated profiles, they are subsequently filled with polyurethane foam. Additional components, such as side guides and shafts, are produced from steel elements and assembled together with the relevant accessories to form the complete rolling shutter system.
