Polypropylene pipes for non-pressure drainage and sewerage

The products covered by this EPD consist of polypropylene pipes made of high-modulus polypropylene (PP-HM), intended for non-pressure underground drainage, sewerage systems, and wastewater conveyance, for use both inside and outside buildings. 

The pipes are manufactured in accordance with the applicable European standards for buried non-pressure piping systems (EN 1852-1 and EN 13476-2) and are available in different nominal diameters and ring stiffness classes. They are designed to ensure high mechanical performance, including elevated ring stiffness, impact resistance, and long-term durability under high soil loads and adverse installation conditions.

The PP-HM material provides excellent chemical resistance over a wide pH range, high abrasion resistance, low surface roughness of the internal wall, and reduced risk of corrosion compared to traditional materials.

The piping systems might be equipped with socket joints with EPDM elastomeric sealing rings, ensuring hydraulic tightness and reliable performance throughout the service life. The pipes are lightweight, easy to install, and fully recyclable at end of life.
