Caustic Soda (NaOH - 50%)

Caustic Soda (NaOH – 50%) is produced by Egyptian Petrochemicals Company (EPC) through the electrolysis of ultra-pure brine using membrane cell technology. The process results in the production of caustic soda, chlorine, and hydrogen and co-products.

The product is an aqueous sodium hydroxide solution with a concentration of 50% and is supplied in liquid form. It conforms to international specifications depending on its end-use and is widely utilized across multiple industrial applications including chemical manufacturing, water treatment, pulp and paper production, and detergents.
