Aluminum Rod

The Innovation Solutions Factory for Industry (SWANCO), located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabi, produces aluminium rod, key intermediate product used in the manufacturing of other aluminium products. Aluminium rods at SWANCO are produced by melting aluminium ingots, aluminium scrap, and alloying elements in a gas-fired furnace. The molten aluminium is transferred to a holding furnace and then cast into rod form, followed by controlled cooling using cooling lubricants. The solidified rods are subsequently rolled and sized to achieve the required dimensions and mechanical properties. Finished rods are packaged using tapes, plastic wrapping, and wooden pallets for delivery.
