Steel Plate

Steel Plate Product manufacturing is mainly concentrated at the New Energy Equipment Division (Manufacturer Changshu Longteng New Energy Equipment Technology Co.,Ltd.), with an annual production capacity of approximately 1.5 million tonnes of steel. The division is equipped with one double-row walking beam reheating furnace, six low-NOx regenerative chamber-type reheating furnaces, high-pressure descaling units, vertical rolling mills, one four-high reversible rolling mill, intermediate cooling systems, pre-leveling machines, DQ+ACC accelerated cooling systems, online reheating furnaces, hot leveling machines, one walking beam heavy plate cooling bed, two roller-type thin plate cooling beds, online ultrasonic testing systems, shearing line equipment, online flaw detection machines, three-dimensional measuring instruments, and maintenance grinding stations.

Continuous casting slabs are used as the primary raw material, supplemented by a portion of ingot-cast steel and forged billets, together with supporting utility and auxiliary facilities. The electrical systems are equipped with advanced Siemens main drive systems and Baosight automation systems.

The company operates a 98 m continuous roller hearth radiant tube non-oxidation normalizing furnace, capable of heat treating Steel Plates with thicknesses ranging from 6 to 230 mm. This is followed by a roller-type quenching machine with a maximum flow rate of 4,800 m³/min and a maximum pressure of 1.0 MPa. In addition, a 118 m continuous roller hearth open-flame tempering furnace is installed.

Furthermore, the division is equipped with five low-NOx regenerative trolley-type heat treatment furnaces, two quenching pits, and six resistance heat treatment furnaces, enabling normalizing, tempering, and quenching processes for heavy-gauge Steel Plates.

The main product grades include high-quality carbon steel (45, 50, S45C, S50C etc.), tool steel (1.2311, 1.2311H, 1.2738 etc.), alloy steel (42CrMo, 40Cr, 25Mn etc.), low-alloy structural steel (Q355 and Q420 series etc.), pressure vessel steel (Q345R, Q370R etc.), shipbuilding steel (AH32, DH32, AH36, DH36 etc.), bridge steel (Q345qC, Q370qC etc.), and high-rise structural steel (Q345GJC, Q390GJC etc.).
