Continuous Casting Slab

Continuous casting slab is primarily produced through electric arc furnace steelmaking and supplied for rolling medium and heavy plates, forging plates, as well as for external sales. The products are applied in plastic mold steel, carbon mold steel, low-alloy structural steel, pressure vessel steel, and structural steel for high-rise buildings. Continuous Casting Slab production is mainly carried out at the Special Steel Division (Manufacturer Changshu Longteng Special Steel Co.,Ltd.). The facilities include one 115 t electric arc furnace (EAF), two 115 t ladle furnaces (LF), one dual-station 115 t vacuum degassing (VD) unit, and one heavy-plate continuous casting machine
