Gutmann’s Aluminum Windows and Doors
This Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) covers aluminium door and wall systems designed for use in building envelopes, including both interior and exterior applications. The products are fabricated using extruded aluminium profiles, which may be mill-finished, powder-coated, or anodized, and are combined with infill elements such as glass panels, aluminium sheets, or composite materials.
The systems include hinged and sliding doors, partition walls, and fixed panels, engineered to meet architectural and performance requirements such as air and water tightness, wind load resistance, thermal insulation, and acoustic performance. Thermal breaks are achieved using reinforced polyamide strips positioned between aluminium sections. Gaskets, fasteners, brackets, and various hardware components—such as handles, locks, and hinges—are included to ensure proper assembly and functionality.
The aluminium door and wall systems are suitable for residential, commercial, and institutional projects, and may be used in both coastal and inland environments. Glazing options typically consist of double- or triple-glazed insulating glass units (IGUs), depending on the performance criteria of the project.
The results presented in this EPD are representative of a range of door and wall configurations produced at a single manufacturing site, using consistent materials and processes. None of the declared systems contain substances listed as Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) above the 0.1% threshold.
Products and their compositions included in the EPD are presented below.
