JI Roof 1000 Low Carbon
The Trapezoidal Insulated JI Roof Panel Low Carbon is used for pitched roofs or horizontal and vertical wall applications, and as an external insulated cladding panel for industrial, commercial and public buildings. Due to its rigid PIR core and metal inner and outer sheet, it combines thermal resistance with large spanning capability. The minimum roof pitch to be applied is 4° or more after deflection. The steel used in this product is low carbon steel. This means that it has a much smaller environmental impact than the production of non-low carbon steel, which reduces the overall environmental impact of this panel.
The reference product used for this study considers the product JI Roof 1000 Low Carbon. This product is produced in Belgium (Zwevezele), Germany (Ansbach) and France (Perpignan). The reference product has a total steel weight of 8,171 kg and a foam thickness of 100mm. The steel weight is the weighted average of all configurations produced during reference year 2023.
